About
Rajesh Sathya Kumar is a software developer with a keen interest in statistical machine learning and quantum computing. With over five years of industry experience, Rajesh has worked with top companies like Zoho Corporation and The Advisory Board, where he built a solid foundation for his software career. Rajesh's love for mathematics drove him to focus on quantum machine learning (QML), which led him to pursue graduate studies at Arizona State University. As part of his academic journey, Rajesh was part of the IBM Global Summer School 2021 on QML, where he had the opportunity to learn and collaborate on projects. He also completed the IBM Qiskit developer Certification. Currently, Rajesh is working as a research assistant in the SenSIP Lab, where he is developing application-oriented benchmarks for quantum ML algorithms. Rajesh's academic interests include algorithms such as dynamic programming and convex optimization, statistical machine learning, deep learning, CNN, RNN, kernel methods, quantum machine learning, and quantum information theory. He is also an avid reader and enjoys books like Pale Blue Dot and A Brief History of Time. In his previous role as a member of the technical staff at Zoho, Rajesh worked on various projects, including React Convergence, Timezone JS Library, Internationalization (I18N), React CLI, and web performance optimization. He was also a student mentor at the Smart India Hackathon 2018, where he and his team developed an e-Healthcare system to monitor healthcare schemes at various levels and make the data publicly accessible. Rajesh has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, where he is currently studying. He also has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RMK Engineering College, Chennai. Rajesh's tech stack includes research scientist, ML, web, software engineer, deep learning, Javascript, CNN, RNN, integration, NodeJS, and ReactJS. With 5.10 years of relevant experience, Rajesh is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for exploring the intersection of machine learning and quantum computing.
